Gay Play Invites Audience To Strip As Naked As Its Sexy Male Cast

"Afterglow" aims to add more bodies to its onstage threesome.

At least three actors won’t have to imagine their audience naked if they get stage fright this weekend.

On Sunday, December 3, the long-running off-Broadway play Afterglow will invite brave audience members to undress like the show’s actors, Time Out New York reports.

Playwright and director S. Asher Gelman explores gay polyamory in his sensual drama about a married couple in an open relationship who begin sleeping with a massage therapist.

“When a new intimate connection begins to form, all three men must come to terms with their individual definitions of love, loyalty, and trust as futures are questioned, relationships are shaken, and commitments are challenged,” reads an official synopsis.

In other words, things get messy, so it’s a good thing there’s a working shower onstage.
