A Chicago gay man wanted to make a big splash proposing to his boyfriend, so decided to pop the question during a Bulls game.

Earlier in the week, Jake Conrad asked friends on Facebook if they knew anyone who worked for the Bulls. By Thursday, he had the whole thing set up and Conrad proposed to his sweetie, Michael Holtzman, at center court at United Center.

Holtzman is a lifelong Bulls fan and hinted that going to a game would be a dream come true. Conrad decided that would be the time to propose, and contacted the Bulls about purchasing a special "fan experience package."

When team representatives heard Jake and Michael’s story, though, they asked if Jake would be open to proposing during the game before the entire arena. He said yes, and asked Michael for his hand during a timeout with team mascot Benny the Bull and the Luvabulls.

Bulls spokesman Ross Lipschultz told Outsports the team worked with Conrad to make the special moment happen. "The Chicago Bulls are honored to have been part of such a special moment for this couple.”

Bulls legend Scottie Pippen even posed for a photo with the couple.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, the Bulls beat the Spurs, 95-91.
