Gay Duo Superfruit's "Bad 4 Us" Video Is Good 4 Everybody

Pentatonix members Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying throw a funky summer dance party.

Hot on the heels of Superfruit's stylish summer anthem, “Imaginary Parties,” comes a new music video for their queer bop “Bad 4 Us.”

Directed by Anthony Sylvester, the pop duo's ’70s-themed video shows vocalists Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying busting their funkiest moves at a dance party—hey, Betty Who!—while rocking retro tuxedos. "Put on some old-school Britney," they sing to a cute but naughty boy. "’Cause baby, you drive me crazy."

Grassi and Hoying are also founding and current gay members of the Grammy-winning a cappella quintet Pentatonix. "With Superfruit, it’s a little more gay-friendly and a lot more open, more sexual, more liberated," Grassi recently told Out when comparing the two groups.

"Bad 4 Us" is a standout track on Future Friends, Superfruit’s new two-part debut studio album. Future Friends—Part One is available now, with Future Friends—Part Two to follow September 15.

Since the duo formed in 2013, Superfruit's videos have amassed more than 350 million views.
