It seems all those hours and days lounging around in nothing but her skivvies have paid off for model/actress Rosie Huntington-Whitely. RHW, as we call her, was asked to design a special lingerie collection for British retailer Marks and Spencer, and came up with Autograph — a 33-piece collection of bras, panties, kimonos and teddies.
While we doubt she spent much time sitting around sewing panty patterns or slaving over a serger, she did have a hand in the designs. Said RHW of the process, “To find inspiration for the collection, I trawled my favourite vintage shops and flea markets in London, LA and Paris, where I found a treasure trove of gorgeous clothes and ornate pieces of jewellery. I was particularly drawn to the opulent elegance of the Twenties era, which really shows in my designs — from the sumptuous silks I chose to the intricate deco-inspired embroidery detailing.”
The collection ranges in price from $24 for briefs and $120 for a robe, and will be available on MarksandSpencer.com from August 30.
