Pride season is in full swing around the world, and here in NYC all the big festivities are going down this weekend. However you choose to celebrate, make sure you go big or go home. It’s always kind of interesting how different people approach Pride every year, isn’t it? Some of your friends are just so over it, some get extra political, and others just look forward to the extra parties.

I’m a big believer in the idea that you should really just approach Pride in whatever way feels right to you, and don’t let anybody pressure you to do anything else. If you wanna wear a rainbow flag cape go for it! If you wanna do some leather get-up just do it! That’s your thing! If you just wanna pound back some PBRs in a sports jersey, that’s cool too.
