GET THE LOOK: Kanye West’s ‘Lost in the World’ Video

In Kanye West news unrelated to Kim Kardashian, his video masterpiece for Lost in the World off his 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy leaked today, and although I felt rather guilty for watching and enjoying it knowing ’Ye wasn’t ready for us to see it… I can’t help but love it. *hits Replay*

In this black and white, seizure-inducing video directed by filmmaker Ruth Hogben we see what West is most known for, a departure from the typical “rap video” and rather something that is more a piece of art. Mainly because the scantily clad women in this video aren’t being rained on while working a pole, instead it’s a well-choreographed emotional portrayal of displacement.

’Ye went pretty lax in this video as far as wardrobe is concerned but the man can really do no wrong (fashion-wise, at least). See below to get the look inspired by the video (mirrored flooring not included):
