Lea Michele Breaks Her Twitter Silence
More than two weeks after boyfriend Cory Monteith’s death, Lea Michele broke her Twitter silence to express her gratitude to fans for their love and support: “Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart,” she tweeted Monday morning, attaching a photo of the pair together on a beach.
Prior to Monday’s tweet, representatives for Michele said in statement that the actress was grieving along with Monteith’s friends and family: “Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans. Since Cory’s passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them. They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together. We continue to ask the media to respect the privacy of Lea and Cory’s family.”

Corey Monteith To Be Honored At Primetime Emmys
The Emmys ceremony in September will also pay tribute to Monteith, who cut his teeth in shows like Kyle XY and Stargate before making it big as our favorite McKinley jock. “Something that reflects an homage is in the works but what the extent of that is, or how we’re going to approach it… well, it’s too early to tell,” said executive producer Ken Ehrlich. “If Cory had passed away in March, we’d have had four months to look at this with a little more perspective. The reason we’re getting all of this discussion now is because he passed away two weeks ago.” Um, sorry his death was so inconvenient, Ken.

Jayma Mays Grosses Us Out Bigtime
Warning, This is disgusting: While promoting Smurfs 2, Jayma Mays told Jay Leno about the time he thought she had an ear infection, but there was actually a bug living in her ear. (We told you it was gross.) “A week ago, I started getting this really bad ear infection—I thought ear infection,” she explained. “A couple days into this infection, I woke up in the middle of the night, like, screaming in pain. Like horrible, horrible pain. And blood started coming out of my ear.” The next day the doctor put drops in her ear and the insect climbed out for fear of drowning! Apparently the problem was Mays ears were too squeaky clean. Ear wax keeps bugs out. Ewwie.
