NeNe Leakes Will Be Back As Coach Roz

E! Online reports that Real Housewives pro NeNe Leakes will return  as sassy swim coach Roz Washington in Season 5. Leakes' other Ryan Murphy show, The New Normal, was canceled after it's debut season, but Glee won't be the only place to find her on TV. Her Bravo hit, I Dream of NeNe, returns Sept 17.

When we last saw Roz she'd stolen control of the Cheerios from Sue. There's no news yet on what the platinum diva will get up to in the new season, but we're hoping she finally gets a song-and-dance moment!

Darren Criss Twerked His Way Through The Teen Choice Awards

There was a lot happening at this year's Teen Choice Awards—from a powerful Paramore performance to the lads of One Direction absolutely dominating—but the world obviously couldn't take its eyes off co-host Darren Criss' twerking skills: First, he got Harry Styles from 1D to twerk in the middle of the audience, then he capped off the show with some epic bootyshaking of his own—in a yellow-tiger onesie. We'll let the GIFs speak for themselves:

Ryder Is In For Some Drama

Blake Jenner—a.k.a. humpy gleek Ryder—was also at the Teen Choice Awards and told Wetpaint the New Directions crew is in for some rough seas when Season 5 starts.  “We’re dealing with some [...] just some good teenage problems,” Jenner teases. “Some good teenage problems, backed up by some good Beatles music,” an allusion to the announced two-part Beatles tribute. There's no word on what Fab Four tracks will make the cut, but WP reports one song will be set "at a crazy, colorful carnival.  “I can say that you’re all in for a bunch of classics and a bunch of great dancing,” says Jenner. Wonder if any of the Beatles numbers will deal with Ryder's Catfish situation with Unique (Alex Newell).

2013-teen-choice-awards-showLea Michele Dedicated Her Teen Choice Award To Cory Monteith

Perhaps the most emotional moment at the TCA's was a clearly overwhelmed Lea Michele dedicating her award to boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith, with Glee castmates providing support.

"I wanted to dedicate this award to Cory. For all of you out there who loved and admired Cory as much as I did, I promise that with your love we're gonna get through this together," Michele said. "He was very special to me and also to the world. And we were very lucky to witness his incredible talent, handsome smile and his beautiful, beautiful heart. So whether you knew him personally or just as Finn Hudson, Cory reached out and became a part of all of our hearts -- and that's where he'll stay forever."

It was Michele's first public appearance since Monteith died last month.

kurt blaineThe Cast Heads Back To Dalton

This week the gleeks were spotted on the set of Dalton Academy—home of the ever-precious Warblers—to film a segment for the Beatles tributes. It's not only Kurt and Blaine and the boys in blue blazers on set, though, but many McKinely alum and current students, plus dad Burt Hummel.  Spies on set reported that Kurt is surprised by a a performance of "All You Need Is Love" spearheaded by Blaine, and since the last thing we saw at the end of last season was a very telltale box in Mr. Anderson's palm, we're jumping to the conclusion that this is some kind of musical wedding proposal. We're not saying Kurt should say yes, but it'll be to say no if Blaine orchestrated something so epic.

Glee Gets Theatrical With A Stage Version

As if Glee wasn't theatrical enough, the show is now getting a stage adaptation according to Fox executives. At the company's Investor Day, 21st Century Fox Television chairman and CEO Gary Newman revealed the plans for the musical, building on the success of 2011's sold-out arena tour: "We launched a live stage business with a sold-out arena concert tour in 2011, and now a live stage musical is in the works," Newman said.   We're assuming this will work somewhat like the popular High School Musical stage versions, and eventually be licensed to schools and community theaters. So now the most important question -- who would you play in a Glee musical in your town? We can't all be Rachel Berry.

Naya Rivera Drops First Single, "Sorry"

Naya is officially the first Glee pop diva out the gate with "Sorry," a bouncy pop single featuring boyfriend Big Sean that acts as an apology to his exes.  That is, if you can call it an apology when she's calling her rivals "a hot mess."
