How Gay Was ‘Glee?’: Let’s Have A Kiki

glee let's have a kiki

The gang returns.

We know when you ask “What’s so gay about Glee?” the obvious answer is “everything.”  But we’re here to break down the queerest bits of Glee into bit-sized morsels for your enjoyment.  Think of us as your gay cheat sheet to Glee fandom.

It’s Sectionals/Thanksgiving week and that means the old New Directions come home to mentor the new kids, minus Kurt and Rachel who stay in New York to have the gayest Brooklyn party with Sarah Jessica Parker.   Plus the Warblers were do-wopping about bjs and flipping all over the place.  What’s not to love?

1. LET’S HAVE A KIKI.  Aka, the queerest thing Glee has ever done, and that’s saying a lot.  It made us want to go to Bushwick.

2. Shangela cameo.  Our girl was on Glee and we couldn’t be happier.

3.. Rake?  Is that the pairing name of Ryder and Jake?  Because we spent of that of this episode going, “are they going to kiss now?”  So much more intersting their their love triangle with Marley and/or Kitty.

4.. The Unholy Trinity. Just glad to have them back in one place.  Even if this week it ends in a slap fight between Santana and Quinn.

5. The Warblers = Gymnasts.  They must be recruiting some Olympians because for a group that used to only two-step they can suddenly flip and jump and move like nobody’s business. Plus they sang a song about, well, blowjobs. We’re into it.
