Glee is all about their Spanish teachers. Mr. Schue holds the job, and Holly Holiday (Gwyneth Paltrow) takes over when he’s sick — but now the show is looking for something a little more authentically Hispanic. The show is in talks to bring Ricky Martin in for an episode to play “Ohio’s sexiest Spanish teacher,” and give him two big numbers. The stint would be the first big guest star of Season 3 (after a guest-star heavy Season 2) and help promote Martin’s run as Che in Evita on Broadway.
It’s probably too much to hope that we get Kurt or Blaine having a hot for teacher moment over Martin, but we can dream.
At the very least, let’s hope he brings along those silver pants from the “She bangs” video. We miss them.
