L.A. Celebrates Diversity—And Sparkles—At The Glitter Run

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

A swarm of shimmering bodies took over the streets of Los Angeles on Sunday for the city’s inaugural Glitter Run.

Thousands of participants were coated in seven colors of non-toxic washable glitter before taking off on the 5k run/walk.

The event was promoted as a celebration of diversity and served as a fundraiser benefiting the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Drag Race star Manila Luzon was also on hand to kick off the run with a colorful performance.
