Those who were first introduced to Sarah Jaffe with her debut album, “Suburban Nature,” will probably be surprised by the sound on her second full-length, “The Body Wins.”

Released earlier this week, Jaffe has gone with a harder, more energetic sound on this album. Some of the songs even come close to all-out dance tracks. Part of this is probably due to John Congleton, the producer she worked with on this outing who has also collaborated with St. Vincent and Wye Oak.

No song on the album captures this new direction more than the rocking ‘Glorified High.’ You can watch the exclusive premiere of the video for that track above.
