Get ready to return to the world of The Good Wife.
Christine Baranski is back as Diane Lockhart, the star of The Good Wife spinoff, The Good Fight—which debuts online on CBS All Access in February.
In the new trailer, viewers find out that Diane lost all her money in a Ponzi scheme and, instead of retiring, must to go work at a new law firm.
Aside from Baranski—and other Good Wife alum like Cush Jumbo (as Luca Quinn)—the trailer gives us more of the new lead character, Maia (Rose Leslie), Diane’s goddaughter and an out lesbian with a steady girlfriend.
Reports The Playlist:
The Good Fight picks up one year after the events of the final broadcast episode of The Good Wife. In the new series, an enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer, Maia Rindell, while simultaneously wiping out her mentor and godmother Diane Lockhart’s savings. Forced out of Lockhart & Lee, they join Lucca Quinn at one of Chicago’s pre-eminent law firms.
