First, Google employees made their own inspiring It Gets Better video back in 2010. Now, they've made a new video urging people to vote for marriage equality in the four states--Washington, Minnesota, Maine, and Maryland--where it's on the ballot in this election. One guy talks about his recent engagement and how hard it is to find a place to get married, while one woman talks about how she has to legally identify herself as "single" on medical forms.

"Civil rights should never be up for a vote," one Googler says, "but the fact that it is means that we have to get people behind the cause as much as possible." What if Google had a way to redirect all searches for "Republican party" to a page about how bigotry is dumb? Can somebody get to work on that?
