Google revealed their new augmented-reality project, Project Glass today, and it’s drawing mixed reactions (“The future that nobody wanted” – The Awl; “We live in a truly amazing time.” – Some YouTube commenter). Here’s a video from the point of view of a guy navigating a typical day while wearing Google’s futuristic googles. It involves a lot of talking to himself:
One thing is pretty certain: nobody is going to call these things “Project Glass” when “Google Goggles” is so much catchier.
