Gun Stolen From Wild Gay Weekend Orgy, Florida Man Tells Cops

Sorry, "open house party" advertised on Grindr.

Even sex parties in America need stricter gun control.

Last month during a weekend-long Florida orgy, a 9mm handgun was stolen from the host's bedroom, The Smoking Gun reports.

According to a Volusia County Sheriff’s Office report, the unnamed 63-year-old victim told police his Glock pistol was missing after an “open house party” held at his Deltona residence. The loaded weapon, for which he has a concealed carry permit, had been in a holster on his nightstand.

The retired corrections officer's orgy, which raged from July 19 to July 21, was “advertised on a gay social media site” and the “theme of the party was ‘anonymous sex.’” Same as my prom!

Guests were “encouraged to come and go as they pleased” and were told to “bring along any friends or acquaintances they desired, and guests were encouraged to utilize fictitious names, or use no name at all.”

The victim tells TSG it's “pretty low that somebody that I knew stole a gun out of my house.” To be fair, out of the estimated 20 partygoers, he “only knew five or six personally.”

While the police report states that the host “advertised” the orgy, he clarifies that he invited his guests through Grindr and Adam4Adam. “I entertain quite a bit,” he says.

Because the unknown guests used fake names, police aren't confident they will catch the gun thief. The larceny case's status has been classified as “suspended/inactive.”
