Gwyneth Paltrow did the most acting she’s done in years in a new campaign for Max Factor. The brand is celebrating over 100 years of turning it out so its professional muse got all dolled up as Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot, Farrah Fawcett and Madonna:
Getting down with an updo as ’50s-era Audrey Hepburn
Feeling kittenish as ’60s bombshell Brigitte Bardot
Shining on disco lights as ’70s-era Farrah Fawcett
Getting into the groove as ’80s-era Madonna
Paltrow, perhaps still deep in character, stepped in Her Madgesty’s anglophilc riding boots when she recalled her childhood with her “mum” — national treasure Blythe Danner.
“I remember being with my mum on film sets and watching her get her make-up done,” Paltrow told British Vogue, no doubt wearing a fascinator, sipping on a spot of tea and planning the takeover a small island-nation.
