We here at NewNowNext got lucky enough to sit down with the sisters Haim last week, Este, Danielle and Alana, those ethereal rock goddesses who have managed to captivate everyone in the music community. Well, everyone except Prince.

Having been on the festival and touring circuit nonstop for the past two years, these girls have built up quite the following, and it's only going to get bigger with the release of their first album, Days Are Gone, later this month. And it could not happen to three nicer, funnier or more talented young ladies.

So watch above as the girls talk about starting their first band as kids, with some help from mom and dad, and their love for Chaka Khan, Florence Welch and those lovely blokes from Mumford & Sons, who they maybe, possibly, almost killed with some offbrand fireworks.

Oh, and did we mention these Cali girls love them some RuPaul's Drag Race? And are friends with Detox and Willam and Vicky Vox, those members of the equally popular California girl group DWV? They just keep getting more and more lovable we tell ya.
