Don’t call it the Romney effect, but we are seeing a lot of up-and-back when it comes to men’s hairstyles. These days celebs are trading in their floppy locks and opting for a more casual, swept away look—even Bieber has ditched his bangs in favor of a more mature style we like to call the “unruffled long-top.”
If adopting this updo, avoid looking like a bumbling right-winged show pony and keep it natural. Ask your stylist to use the existing length on top and layer in shorter sides without going too cropped. With damp hair, apply a sculpting fiber like Phillip B.’s Oud Royal Perfect Finish and blow dry upside own. Toss out the comb and style with your fingers.
The finished result looks like you didn’t spend a great deal of time putting yourself together (but we all secretly know you did).
