NEW: Spike Jonze’s Halloween Movie Is Amazing

Pure awesomeness

First comes death, then comes marriage, then comes baby in the baby carriage in this new stop-motion short from Spike Jonze called Mourir Auprès de Toi (To Die By Your Side). Just try not to fall in love with the hero, who is the skeleton from the first-edition cover of MacBeth, and his love from the Dracula cover. It took over 3,000 pieces of felt to craft the tale, which includes both a cameo from the titular whale in Moby Dick and skeleton sex.

Much credit also much go to the fantastic Olympia Le Tan who created all the figures and books, allowing those of us who can’t afford one of her gorgeous purses the chance to have the Le Tan experience.
