There’s always been something mysterious about identical twins, and Hollywood has used that allure to great effect over the years.
Here are nine examples of identical twins who have brought us double the fun!

Aaron and Shawn Ashmore

Aaron is best known for playing a gay teen in Prom Queen: The Marc Hall Story, as well as his recurring role as Jimmy Olsen in Smallville, a recurring role on Veronica Mars, his current co-starring turn on Sfyfy’s Killjoys, and of course, as beloved gay agent Steve Jinks on Warehouse 13.
Remember when he was split in two, uptight Steve and super-gay Steve? They missed an opportunity by not letting Shawn play one of them, but it was still fun.

Max and Charlie Carver
MTVMax and Charlie got their start playing the Scavo twins on Desperate Housewives, and went on to stardom playing the straight and gay twins Aiden and Ethan on Teen Wolf. Most recently they twinned it up again on HBO’s The Leftovers.
Max rocked a pornstache as Preston Scavo.
And Charlie made us swoon as Ethan.
James and Oliver Phelps
James and Oliver played Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter films, and like their co-stars (Hello, Matthew Lewis), have matured quite nicely.
Dylan and Cole Sprouse
GettySpeaking of maturing nicely, former Disney Tween Kings Dylan and Cole attended college after their Suite Life years, and Cole is bringing Jughead Jones to life on The CW’s Riverdale.
And we know that Dylan is active on social media.
Harry And Luke Treadaway
GettyBrits Harry and Luke made their debut playing conjoined twins in a punk rock band in Brothers In The Head, but they have also managed separate careers.
Harry starred in the movies Control, Honeymoon and The Disappeared, and as Victor Frankenstein on Showtime’s Penny Dreadful
Luke has had his biggest successes on the stage, but did have a memorable turn as Prokopion in Clash Of The Titans.
Luke and Harry reunited for 2009’s stage production of Over There, in which they spent much of the running time in their skivvies.
Gary and Larry Lane
Gay twins Gary and Larry are best known for their modeling and reality work (including Fear Factor, Wipeout, and their documentary Hollywood To Dollywood), but they have dabbled in acting, including roles in Dawson’s Creek, Zoolander, The Patriot, and Spider-Man.
Here they are talking about being bullied in school, and how they got through it together.
And here’s their Doritos commercial with Leslie Jordan.
Jonathan and Drew Scott
Jonathan and Drew have won legions of fans as HGTV’s Property Brothers, helping families find, buy, and transform fixer-uppers into dream homes.
Speaking of dreamy:
Both guys seem well aware of their appeal, and don’t mind playing it up for the camera. We approve.
Jordan and Zac Stenmark
The Stenmark Twins are two of the hottest models in show business, and these Australian brothers have made the leap to acting, starring in the baseball pic Diamonds Down Under.
We’d say they’re shining brightly.
John and Edward Grimes
Irish brothers John and Edward debuted on The X Factor in 2009, and though “Jedward” only managed sixth place, they used that exposure to launch their own brand, and became pop culture stars all over Europe.
