If Hari Nef is hoping to take 2017 by storm, then kicking it off day one by starring in a sultry music video covering "Blue Velvet" is a pretty good start.

The trans supermodel donned a lilac gown and served Old Hollywood glamour for her performance for Love magazine's Advent video series.

The UK magazine has released a new video featuring a different female model on its site every day since December 1, and Nef's contribution is a seductive throwback to the days of yore.

The 24-year-old made a name for herself last year when she landed on the cover of Elle, reportedly making her the first transgender cover model in Britain.

“Hari defines the change that’s happening in the world right now, but also she fits into the specific fashion movement," said Lorraine Candy, Editor-in-Chief of Elle UK. “She’s intelligent and thoughtful, she understands and loves fashion and beauty. She’s not defined by any one thing."
