It's been a long time coming, but Magnus Bane (Harry Shum Jr) and Alec Lightwood (Matthew Daddario) finally locked lips on Shadowhunters, Freeform's small-screen adaptation of The Mortal Instruments YA book series.

The kiss was all the more surprising since it took place at Alec's wedding to Lydia Branwell. Magnus, being the upstart that he is, crashed the ceremony and claimed his man just moments before Lydia traced a wedding rune onto Alec’s hand.

Leave it to a 400-year-old warlock to be a drama queen.

“Emotions are never black and white, they’re more like symptoms,” Magnus explains. "You lose your breath every time they enter a room, your heart beats faster when they walk by, your skin tingles when they stand close enough to feel your breath."
