Henry Cavill graces the cover of September’s Men’s Fitness to discuss his intense workout routines, but it seems his arms are doing all the talking.
The Superman star revealed that he is constantly learning what type of training best suits his lifestyle, but realized there is no quick fix.
“I was very fit, then I was not very fit, then I was very fit again, then I was not very fit,” he said. “Now that I’m fit again, I think I’ve found a comfortable balance, which is enjoyable because we all like to go out for drinks and have pizza and have dinners and all the nice things in life, and not being a complete gym psycho.”
The Man of Steel actor also hopes that by sharing his routines on social media, people will realize that there’s an actual process to getting into superhero shape.
“As much as I can, I like to get it out there that you don’t have to endure a psychotic, agonizing workout,” Cavill said. “You don’t have to leave it all on the floor every time. Hopefully through my social media I can help educate people.”
