Here’s How You Can Watch Aretha Franklin’s Funeral

The Queen of Soul will be laid to rest on Friday, August 31. Though the funeral is limited to invited guests, the world will be able to watch online or on television.

According to the Detroit Free Press, national broadcasters including HLN and the Word Network plan to air the funeral in its entirety, though HLN will occasionally break in for headline updates.

The service will also be live streamed by the Associated Press and will be available at

Fox News and CNN plan to air portions of the ceremony.

The music legend’s funeral will be celebrated in music with a superstar roster of singers set to pay tribute including Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill, Ariana Grande, and Chaka Khan.

According to Deadline, the five-hour ceremony begins at 10:00 AM ET.
