Over the weekend, the stars of Disney’s Hocus Pocus—one of the most beloved films in all of gaydom and a Halloween staplereunited for a 20th anniversary screening for D23: The Official Disney Fan Club in Burbank, California.

Thora Birch (Dani), Kathy Najimy (Witchy Mary Sanderson), Omri Katz (Max), Vinessa Shaw (Allison) and Doug Jones (Billy Butcherson) hopped on their broomsticks for the screening and Q&A. Sarah Jessica Parker and Bette Midler couldn’t make it, but we know they love the movie and its fans. Bette called Hocus Pocus the favorite film she’s ever done.

Smart lady, that Bette.

Doug Jones (Billy Butcherson) and Vinessa Shaw (Allison) make for an odd couple indeed.  “I grew up watching Disney films,” Shaw recently told Zap2it. “I watched Hayley Mills movies, Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins… so being able at 16 years-old to be in a Disney movie, it was incredible, and it is incredible that it still has ’legs’ to this day.”

And just for giggles, the Sanderson Sisters sing “I Put a Spell on You”
