Ryan Murphy and Janet Mock Drop Hints About "Hollywood" Season 2

Could we be returning to Dreamland?

Although critics have not been the kindest to Ryan Murphy's newest Netflix series, Hollywood, fans are loving the revisionist take on Tinseltown's heyday.

And there might be more on the way.

Hollywood was always envisioned and marketed as a "limited series," much like last year's Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City. But on Instagram, Murphy gave fans an update about the possibility of another season.

"Well, Hollywood was planned as a limited series, but it's become so popular that everyone is asking for another season. So who knows? I sure do love this cast though," he wrote in a reply to a fan who asked if he was planning a Season 2.

Janet Mock, who directed multiple episodes, also chimed in, tweeting out that the Hollywood team has an idea for additional seasons à la American Horror Story: an anthology series where the same cast would play a different set of characters from another era of Hollywood history.

With the filmmaking industry existing for more than a century, there are endless stories Murphy and his team could bring to life with this company of actors.

Where would you like to see Hollywood go for its second season?
