Homophobe Starts Fight With Gay West Point Graduates, Promptly Has His Ass Handed To Him

A violent homophobe shouting anti-gay slurs in a SoHo bodega this weekend picked a fight with the wrong guys — two West Point graduates — and wound up bruised and bloodied.

Daniel Lennox-Choate and Larry Lennox-Choate, the cadets who made history as the first to marry at the West Point Military Academy, told the New York Daily News they were peacefully shopping in a SoHo bodega Sunday when, out of nowhere, they were confronted by a 40-year-old man who "screamed anti-gay obscenities" at them before "sucker-punching" Daniel in the face.

Larry immediately leapt to the defense of his husband, he wrote on Facebook. Once he was finished defending himself and his man, the assailant "left covered in his own blood with his tail between his legs after I handled the situation and tossed him in the street like the coward loser he is," he said.

"We refuse to be victims and are thankful we can defend ourselves, but are saddened by the fact that idiots like this guy might not pick two guys who went through Plebe Boxing next time," he added.

The NYPD haven't made an arrest but the investigation is ongoing. The couple has "full faith a positive outcome will follow."
