Homophobic Indiana School Wants Gay-Free Prom

[caption id="attachment_88884" align="aligncenter" width="607"] When gay in Indiana, take this before prom.[/caption]

Since high school isn't alienating and difficult enough already, a group of students, parents and others in Wabash Valley, Indiana are rallying for a "traditional" prom that would ban gays. Though Sullivan High School says they can't legally condone a discriminatory prom, the anti-gay "traditionalists" plan to throw a separate prom, hoping to lure more students there. "If we can get a good prom then we can convince more people to come and follow what they believe," said student Kynon Johnson. Seems like a foolproof plan: after all, who knows how to party better than uptight straight people?

Those in favor of throwing the prom insist that they aren't being homophobic. "Love them as a person. You don't have to love what they do, because the gays may not love all the mistakes you make," said local man Jim Davis, before talking about how much he loves lasagna and hates Mondays. In addition, several pastors in the community have supported the movement.

However, many who think that grown adults should be focusing their attention on more important matters than trying to ruin a bunch of highschoolers' night insist they're just being assholes.
