On the red carpet for the premiere of Thanks For Sharing at the Toronto International Film Festival, a movie that examines sex addiction and its long-reaching effects, a reporter for Xtra!, a gay Canadian news program, asked the film’s stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Clark Gregg if it was harder to be a sex addict or an openly gay actor in Hollywood.
We understand sex addiction is a very real, and very serious, psychological addiction, but do we need to be comparing it to homosexuality at a time when many people still believe being gay, queer, bisexual or transgender is a psychological disorder?
For her part, Gwyneth answers the question in the best way possible.
