Hotel Cipriani’s New Venice Restaurant Is Suspended 50 Meters In The Air

Visitors to Hotel Cipriani in Venice will soon have a fun new way to dine with the hotel’s Dinner in The Sky experience, a “dining room” that suspends guests 50 meters in the air as they enjoy a meal or drink.

Because what is more fun than taking in the sites of good old sinking Venice while constantly worrying you may plunge back to Earth strapped to a dining table?

22 guests can be accommodated at a time around the table, which is suspended over the hotel’s pool on the island of Giudecca, and there is an option for an one-hour three-course meal or a 30-minute aperitif.

This limited dining engagement kicks off June 19 and runs through the June 23, so make your reservation now friends. Prices for the cocktail hour start at 50 euros, while dinner starts at 250 euros.

The whole thing really does sound amazing. Or, you know, totally terrifying.
