When last we left House of Cards, Claire Underwood (national treasure Robin Wright) had taken her rightful place as President of the United States after Francis Underwood (national disgrace Kevin Spacey) resigned.

In real life, Spacey was written off the show after several men accused him of sexual harassment or assault and with the fate of House of Cards in the balance, Netflix announced the upcoming sixth season would be its last.

While we will all miss Claire's severe bobs and inspiring asymmetrically-cut suits, it's probably for the best since HoC jumped the shark a while ago. Like, what were we doing with that secret Illuminati group in the woods? But, hey, thanks for giving us (Oscar-winner) Mahershala Ali, a much-deserved comeback for Wright, and this threesome I never knew I needed.

Sigh. R.I.P. Meechum.

In the following teaser we learn [spoiler alert] that Francis is dead and Claire [spoiler alert] is sporting an effortless side-swept bang while gloating over his grave. Looks like we're at least going out on a high note.
