How Did Bob The Drag Queen End Up In New York?

"I didn't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of."

The New York queens were in full force this season on Rupaul’s Drag Race, but Bob the Drag Queen is the sole diva from Gotham heading into the finale.

In an exclusive clip, she reveals why she made the move to the Big Apple.

“I toured as an actor for awhile, and I got a job in Montana. My friend told me, ’You’re really talented. You need to be in New York City—they really need someone like you there,'” Bob tells Naomi.

Bob revealed that he didn’t have any money at the time—”I didn’t have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of”—and actually thought about going home first.

“He told me, ’If you go home you might never make it to New York City,’ He was probably right.” In the end, Bob’s friend ended up buying a ticket for her, “if you go straight to New York City from here.”

“I paid him back that ticket,” she added. “I gave him twice what he paid for my ticket.”
