The film finds celebrity chef Erasmus (Coogan) and husband Paul (Rudd) in a bickering, but loving relationship. Their extravagant life gets turned upside, though, when Erasmus discovers he has a grandson he never knew. After 10-year-old Bill (Jack Gore) turns up unexpectedly at one of their swanky parties, Erasmus and Paul decide to take him in.

Rounding out the cast are Jesse Luken, Jack Gore, and Alison Pill. Coogan and Rudd previously co-starred in Night at the Museum and Our Idiot Brother.

Ideal Home premiered in February at the 2018 Mardi Gras Film Festival in Sydney. It's expected to hit theaters on June 21.
