Idina Menzel Re-Listed As Adele Dazeem In Playbill For Broadway Musical “If/Then”

John Travolta butchering Idina Menzel’s name as “Adele Dazeem” was either the worst thing that ever happened to the Tony-winning actress-singer, or the best. For two days straight, the flub has been the topic of water-cooler conversation and even lead to a genius Travolta-fier Name Generator.

Now it looks like producers of If/Then, the new Broadway show Menzel is starring in, are getting in on the act. Tweets from the audience indicate the show’s Playbill has been updated to reveal that Idina’s role, Elizabeth, is being played by Adele Dazeem—who apparently got her start in the riveting AIDs musical Nert and as “Ephraima” in Wicked-ly.

And with that, a star is (re)born.
