If This Is What The Police In Norway Look Like, We Wanna Be Arrested
There's a photo of some Norwegian bicycle cops being passed around the internet that is making us want to go on a crime spree.
Anton Maijan, who describes himself as a “Go-Go dancer with the Berlin Boys," posted the picture on his Facebook page and it was quickly shared nearly 8,000 times.
Men and women all over the world were commenting on every social media site about the hot cops, until some eventually pointed out it was fake.
Toni Kaarttinen is the Finnish photographer who took the original picture, and he eventually tracked down and identified Ion Wolf as the man responsible for the manipulated version.
"With the policemen and uniforms, of course there’s always a sexual undertone, but not in the way it was photoshopped later on," said Kaarttinen.
"It's like a play on the masculinity of the policemen," he continued. "There's a bit of a Tom of Finland aesthetic in the photoshopped version of the picture."
Although it is disappointing to learn the viral photo is a fake, the bright side is the original is still making heads turn and being shared all over the web as well.
Whichever version you choose, we're not mad at those uniform shorts.
