Imagine Dragons, Nate Ruess, Raise $700,000 At Orlando Benefit Concert

“Music is the greatest unifier, music heals hearts and brings people together,” said Dragons' singer Dan Reynolds.

Chart-toppers Imagine Dragon and Nate Ruess headlined a special concert last night benefiting victims of the mass shooting at Orlando's Pulse Nightclub.

Held at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, the All is One Orlando Unity Concert benefitted the OneOrlando Fund, which assists survivors and families of victims of the attack.

Joey Fatone emceed the event, which also saw Samantha Ronson spinning in the DJ booth.

The show was put together on the fly, but reportedly raised at least $700,000.

“We felt like we needed to come together to get behind this cause,” said Ben McKee, bass guitarist for Imagine Dragons, told WESH.

“Music is the greatest unifier, music heals hearts and brings people together,” added lead singer Dan Reynolds.
