Beanie Feldstein Will Play Monica Lewinsky in “Impeachment: American Crime Story”

With Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp?!

FX is tackling President Bill Clinton's infamous sex scandal in Impeachment, its third installment of the Emmy-winning American Crime Story franchise, with a star-studded and super queer cast.

As Deadline reports, the series in currently in pre-production, with a tentative premiere date set for September 27, 2020. The network did, however, offer a look into the cast. American Horror Story veteran Sarah Paulson and Booksmart star Beanie Feldstein, both queer actresses, were tapped to star as Linda Tripp and the now-infamous Monica Lewinsky, respectively.

Lewinsky herself is also on board for the project, serving as a producer for Impeachment: American Crime Story. In the decades following the notorious White House scandal, Lewinsky has risen to prominence as an anti-bullying advocate and contributor to publications like Vanity Fair.

Previous installments of FX's American Crime Story include The Assassination of Gianni Versace, a Ryan Murphy-helmed saga that scored the prolific out showrunner—and its lead actor, Glee alum Darren Criss—multiple Emmys in 2018.
