Kylie Minogue In Concert: 8 Amazing Live Performances

Did you just see that ray of glitter floating into the air? No, you're not imagining things: It's the new Kiss Me Once Tour DVD from everyone's favorite Aussie disco pixie, Kylie Minogue.

Filmed in Glasgow last year at the SSE Hydro, the concert featured hits from her 2014 pop treat of the same name, as well as some tried-and-true Kylie classics. To celebrate, I dug through the archives and selected my favorite live moments from Lady Minogue from the recent past.

So now, step back in time and start spinning around while watching some of Kylie's most fab stage moments.

1. "Come Into My World," Fever Tour (2002)

Cyborg Kylie came to us at the peak of her pop resurgence, right as "Love At First Sight" and "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" echoed through nightclubs and in our brains. (Na, na, na...) Rather than kick off with her catchy hit, though, she rose up onto the stage with what would be Fever's final single, "Come Into My World," for some flirty, futuristic Tron-meets-Studio-54 fun.

2. "Red Blooded Woman/Slow," Showgirl: The Greatest Hits Tour (2005)

[gdm_video source="youtube" video_id="GErHPNehJ2o" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GErHPNehJ2o"]

The entire Showgirl concert was a fabulously camp extravaganza, but this Body Language-inspired medley is an absolute highlight: Hot muscle men twirl around the mini-diva until she (literally) walks all over the boys. Throw in a sudden "Where The Wild Roses Grow" sample to get the die-hards shaking, and you've got some signature Kylie live greatness.

3. "What Do I Have To Do," Intimate And Live Tour (1998)

[gdm_video source="youtube" video_id="AAEjjcfQU4U" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAEjjcfQU4U"]

Around the time of  1997's Impossible Princess, Kylie Minogue really went for it as an indie artist, wrapping her girly vocals around fiery guitar licks and experimental vibes. (It was her Ray Of Light, if you will.)

Accordingly, the following year's Intimate And Live Tour saw the songstress making over her most beloved teen-pop hits, including "I Should Be So Lucky" and "What Do I Have To Do," which she turned into an awesomely explosive, guitar-filled arena rock anthem.

4. "Butterfly," Live In Sydney (2001)

[gdm_video source="youtube" video_id="z_tiHQEi_xk" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_tiHQEi_xk&index=2&list=RDVb5TIjOiCck"]

A few years later, Kylie did nearly a complete 180, churning out one of her campiest sets yet in support of the euphoric Light Years. "Butterfly" is a sexy, sweaty trip into clubland, from the flashing lights, and pounding drums to the writhing bodies (Hello: RIBBON DANCERS!), and Minogue delivered the equivalent of a full-on rave on stage.

5. "All The Lovers," Aphrodite: Les Folies Tour (2011)

[gdm_video source="youtube" video_id="8UocjzT-2uw" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UocjzT-2uw"]

Kylie pulled out all the stops with the grand finale of 2011's huge and flamboyant Aphrodite: Les Folies Tour. While crooning "All The Lovers," the pint-sized pop princess created an aquatic Cirque du moment, filled with near-naked dancers, aerial acrobatics and water jets squirting from all ends of the elaborate stage. Pure nau(gh)tical bliss!

6. "Cherry Bomb, Anti Tour (2012)

[gdm_video source="youtube" video_id="uInOufqt02A" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uInOufqt02A"]

It takes a very special kind of diva to be able to pull off a tour consisting completely of B-sides, bonus tracks and unreleased gems from the vault. KM's stripped-down show was a rare moment to appreciate the lesser-known numbers (and Kylie's voice, sans showgirl distractions).

7. "Secret (Take You Home)," Body Language Live (2003)

[gdm_video source="youtube" video_id="9RuUZjfIe4Y" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uInOufqt02Ahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RuUZjfIe4Y"]

Following the dance floor magic of Fever, Kylie took it down, down, down with the sensual, R&B-laced Body Language. And for her sexy rendition of "Secret" during the Body Language Live show, the glamour goddess perched on a motorcycle while serving some seriously sassy attitude. (Hello: LIVE RAPPING!)

8. "Love At First Sight," For You, For Me Tour (2009)

[gdm_video source="youtube" video_id="f-0zmpVsLhk" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-0zmpVsLhk"]

For true Kylie lovers, nothing will ever beat a live version of "Live At First Sight" — it is the very essence of her shimmering DNA, packaged into one concert experience. It's hard to say exactly which performance of "First Sight" is the best, but during her first tour of North America, Kylie was met with the most energetic response from fans waiting actual decades to see the pop princess live in person.

This is what joy looks like.
