To promote a pro-equality rally at the Dublin City Hall this Sunday, LGBT Noise launched this tongue-in-cheek viral video, which spoofs the current trend in zombie movies.

Cowering inside their barricaded home, terrified straight couple John and Mary warn viewers that the Emerald Island has been overrun—by same-sex marriage.

"So much... equality," Mary bemoans. "Ireland was practically unrecognizable."

"We tried to blend in, but the weddings were... unbelievable," adds John. "I felt completely underdressed... It was at that point [that] it became a question of survival."

Ireland will hold a nationwide referendum on same-sex marriage in 2014.
