Madonna has already had a busy 2014.  We know that The Queen of Pop has been tied up promoting her #artforfreedom project and her new skin care line.  And yet, somehow, Madge has found the time to work on her as-yet-untitled studio album.  While few details have been revealed, Madonna sent out the following instagram a few days ago, with the caption "Having an Iconic Moment in the studio with Toby-Mozilla and S1. My throat hurts from singing laughing and crying. #artdorfeedom":

This leads us to wonder what stage of production the new masterpiece could be in. According to DirectLyrics.com, Madonna's long list of contributors has been confirmed and include EDM heavy hitters like Natalia Kills and Avicii, with MoZella, Symbolyc One, and Toby Gad more recently added as collaborators.  Other than that, little else is known.

Since, according to The Global and Mail, Madonna had only begun recording her 13th studio album in Feburary, it's hard to imagine the finished product will be debuting any time in the immediate future.

Then again, Madonna could be Beyonce'ing us.  Here's hoping!
