Italian Stud Paolo Tuci Serves Up Totally "Not Gay" Sailor Moon Tribute Video

There's no closet big enough for these Sailor Scouts.

Finally, Sailor Moon has gotten the boy-band treatment: Italian singer Paolo Tuci released a gender-bending cover of the cartoon's theme song, featuring himself and four other bare-chested lads as Sailor Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter.

His "Il Cristallo del Cuore" ("Crystal Heart") goes truly supernova, though, when he works in a mashup of Madonna’s “La Isla Bonita.”

Tuci begins the video with a clear warning that “this is not a gay video”—in case the open vests, Paris is Burning dance moves and Madonna lyrics confused us.

What’s Italian for “Gurl, please”?

The disclaimer is likely just a cheeky joke for queer fans of Tuci, whose covers have also included Jem and the Holograms and the Dragonball Z theme songs.
