Cher is like the Energizer Bunny: No, not small and fuzzy—we mean she keeps going without stop (and probably runs on batteries). She’s been working since the mid ’60s, singing some of the most memorable and successful songs of pop music, branching out as an Oscar winning actress, style icon and TV producer, all with the handicap of having no last name.
So what better way to celebrate Cher’s most recent album, Closer To The Truth, than by listening to a dramatic reading of “Woman’s World” as performed by the lovely and talented authoress Jackie Collins? (Now if we could just get Cher to star in the adaptation of Jackie’s latest book, The Power Trip.)
Check out the video below, and feel free to Cher it with friends.
