Jackie Cox Confronts Lisa Rinna in Exclusive “Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem” Clip

Leave it to a "Drag Race" queen to dish some makeup tips.

Lisa Rinna must feel like she’s looking in a mirror!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Days of Our Lives alum returns to the iconic soap opera to reprise her role as Billie Reed in the new Peacock limited series, Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem. The event reunites seven fan-favorite couples from DOOL past and present as they embark on a globe-trotting mission to retrieve Alamainian gemstones that once adorned a golden peacock (it’s a long story, so the fewer questions asked, the better).

Rinna first played Billie in 1992, but she is no longer the only Rinna on the scene. RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12 queen Jackie Cox did an uncanny impersonation of the Beverly Hills housewife for Snatch Game. Rinna gave Cox’s impersonation her official stamp of approval, and now the two come to face to face in an exclusive new clip from their episode of DOOL, dropping this Wednesday (September 8) on Peacock.

In the scene, Cox dishes out some makeup tips to Rinna’s Billie and gives her lip liner, not that she “needs a thing” because she already looks fabulous.

As if Rinna and Cox together weren’t enough of a reason to tune in, Salem’s favorite gay couple, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (now played by Zach Tinker), are also returning for the limited series.

“When my character finally meets Lisa’s iconic Billie Reed, it’s quite the encounter, complete with lots of soap opera stares, which Lisa and I had too much fun doing!” Cox told Entertainment Weekly last month. “It was my first time on a soap opera set, and Lisa was so welcoming and definitely helped me find my light. She kept saying, ’The good light is over here, honey,’ and amen for that!”

Check out the exclusive clip below, and watch new episodes of Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem every day this week on Peacock, with the finale airing on Friday, September 10.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
