Remember Jake Gyllenhaal as the awkward outcast in Donnie Darko? And then remember just a few months ago when he shed a ton of weight to go full-creeper in Nightcrawler?

While we love both of those performances, we're happy to report Gyllenhaal has returned to his Jarhead/Love And Other Drugs mode–ya know, the mode where he is looking shredded and foyne–in the new trailer for his film Southpaw.

From Training Day director Antoine Fuqua, Southpaw centers around Gylly's character Billy "The Great" Hope, telling the story of a Junior Middleweight Champion who loses his wife in a tragic accident, sending him into a downward spiral until a former boxer, played by Forest Whitaker, restores him to glory.

The film co-stars Rachel McAdams, Rita Ora, Tyrese Gibson and 50 Cent.
