James Corden Dedicated A Moment Of "Late Late Show" To Praise Bruce Jenner
James Corden took a moment from The Late Late Show on Tuesday to praise Bruce Jenner's courage in coming out as a trans woman.
The charming Brit started his speech by joking, "It's official: I truly cannot keep up with the Kardashians," but then took a more serious tone and confessed Jenner's interview with Diane Sawyer was "genuinely one of the most incredible thing I've seen on television."
"Since I got here in January," Corden added, "[Bruce's transition] has felt like this constant thing of magazine covers, people saying stuff."
Corden admits Bruce's struggle—and the struggle of trans people in general—is something that he "will never know," but he said he hoped the interview would make the world a "better and more understanding place" for trans peoples.
Bruce, you truly are a trailblazer.
