James Franco is coming out with an EP. Were you aware of this fact? If not, you’re welcome. Whether the finished product goes more the way of Beyoncé (4 (20), perhaps?) or Gaga (Artfully Forlorn This Way?) the finished product will definitely at least be interesting.
Today saw the release of his music video collaboration with performance artist Kalup Linzy for his song “Rising.” It is a blurred, distorted, echo chamber of dreams with all the cross-fade dissolves you could ever half drunkenly imagine.
The EP is called Turn It Up and is out July 12 via Dutty Artz, a label founded by DJ/rupture. The last song they released was called “I Love You.”
