Homophile James Franco has yet another gay movie coming out, Sal, and today comes word the flick is going to hit theaters on November 1 after a long, long delay.

And the preview photos, unsurprisingly, are pretty gay.

Sal tells the story of gay '50s actor Sal Mineo, who garnered acclaimed as James Dean's sensitive sidekick , Plato, in Rebel Without a Cause. Though he enjoyed success on the stage, his mainstream His Hollywood career was cut short when he essentially came out in the 1960s. Mineo was only 37 when he was tragically murdered in 1976.

Franco is directing Sal, adapted the screenplay and has a small role in the picture (of course). Val Lauren, who also appeared in Interior. Leather. Bar  plays Mineo.
