Here's some doubly hunky news for the day - James Franco shows his love for Ryan Gosling.

Everyone's favorite actor/writer/artist/poet/etc., etc., Franco recently put on yet another hat, writing a review on Huffington Post for The Place Beyond The Pines. Well...sort of. The review, entitled "Burning For Gosling" begins by discussing the film - and don't worry, there's some vintage Franco-speak in there, like "Its style is part Cassavetes, part Dardenne brothers by way of The Wrestler," - but it quickly moves towards a sort of love letter to Gosling.

Says Franco, "I loved the whole film and was engaged every moment of the way. But what I want to talk about is the first section, the Gosling section; I want to make love to this section." He describes the section in some detail, noting that, "the first image we see is Gos's toned six-pack," covered in eclectic tattoos. Even before we see his face, "we know it's the Gos: the hair, the head, the strut."

Franco praises Gosling's "eccentric character behavior," his mastery at "evoking character through dress" and just the whole section, full of "the same beautiful Gosling brooding and motorcycle riding." Franco admits, "I could watch that first section over and over and over and over." We have a feeling you're not alone on that front, James.
