Jane Fonda Reveals Why She Thought Warren Beatty Was Gay

Being on the press tour for her gay-themed new Netflix series Grace and Frankie seems to have really left an impact on Jane Fonda--she has been chatting about gay topics non-stop!

The 77-year-old actress told Pride Source that one of her favorite memories was "campaigning with Harvey Milk in the Castro District in San Francisco" and she even shared that a famous unnamed gay actor once asked her to marry him.

She most recently opened up to W magazine, this time revealing that she once thought Warren Beatty was gay.

The magazine mentioned that Beatty, when referring to his 1959 screen test with Fonda for their film Parrish, had "recalled that they 'were thrown together like two lions in a cage and kissed until we had practically eaten each others’ heads off.'"

Fonda responded to W, saying she didn't remember the screen test at all, but then jokingly revealed, "I thought Warren was gay. He played piano, and all his friends were gay.”
